Soft fleece meets resort-worthy design.

Our sherpa blankets are built for comfort and detail. The fleece face carries your resort's trail map in a full-bleed, edge-to-edge print — no white borders, no cropped edges. The reverse side is a plush sherpa lining that gives the blanket real weight and warmth without being heavy or stiff. Three sizes cover everything from a reading chair throw (37″×57″) to a full bed-size blanket (60″×80″), with a standard 50″×60″ option in between.

Every blanket is made to order — produced when you buy it, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. That means less waste and a product that's handled fewer times before it reaches you. Care is simple: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. The print and colors hold up through repeated washes without fading or cracking. 100% polyester construction keeps the blanket lightweight, quick-drying, and resistant to pilling.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort sits at the end of the road in central Colorado's Elk Mountains — and that remoteness is the point. With 1,547 acres, 16 lifts, and 300 inches of average annual snowfall, Crested Butte has long been known for some of the steepest inbounds terrain in North America. The peak elevation of 12,162 feet feeds a mountain face that drops sharply into everything from technical chutes to wide-open intermediate runs, all with a peak-to-base vertical of over 2,700 feet.

Read More Read Less

The town of Crested Butte started as a coal mining camp in the 1880s, and the ski area opened in 1961 on the north face of the mountain above town. For decades it stayed independently owned and deliberately uncommercial, earning the nickname the Last Great Colorado Ski Town. The Muellers — who also ran Okemo in Vermont — purchased it in 2004, and Vail Resorts acquired Crested Butte in 2018 as part of the same deal that brought Okemo and Mount Sunapee into the Epic Pass family.

What makes Crested Butte different is the terrain mix. The North Face and Extreme Limits zones deliver some of the most challenging lift-served skiing anywhere — tight chutes, cliff bands, and mandatory air that have made CB a proving ground for generations of freeskiers. But the lower and mid-mountain offer genuine intermediate terrain, and the town itself — a designated National Historic District with painted Victorians lining Elk Avenue — has a personality that destination resorts spend millions trying to manufacture. Mtns Co carries Crested Butte gear for people who know that the best ski towns are the ones you have to go out of your way to reach.
