Beaver Creek Ski Resort sits just ten minutes west of Vail in Colorado's Eagle Valley, and it has quietly built one of the most complete ski experiences in the Rockies. Across 2,082 acres and three interconnected mountains — Beaver Creek, Arrowhead, and Bachelor's Gulch — 25 lifts access terrain that spans wide-open intermediate cruisers, steep bump runs off Grouse Mountain, and some of the best grooming in North America. With 323 inches of average annual snowfall and a peak elevation of 11,440 feet, the conditions match the reputation.

Vail Associates opened Beaver Creek in 1980 after more than a decade of planning, originally considered as a venue for the 1976 Winter Olympics before Colorado voters turned that bid down. The resort went on to host three FIS Alpine World Ski Championships — in 1989, 1999, and 2015 — on the Birds of Prey downhill course, one of the most technically demanding race venues in North America. That racing pedigree runs through the mountain's DNA and shows up in trail design and maintenance standards that few resorts match.
Today, Beaver Creek operates under Vail Resorts with terrain that rewards every ability level. Beginners get dedicated learning areas at the base, intermediates own the long groomed runs that made the mountain famous, and advanced skiers find serious terrain in the Larkspur and Stone Creek Chutes. McCoy Park offers a quiet Nordic skiing escape up top. And the village — with its ice skating rink, après scene, and the daily fresh-baked cookie handoff at 3 o'clock — rounds out a mountain that takes its skiing seriously without taking itself too seriously. Mtns Co carries official Beaver Creek gear because this is a mountain worth repping.
