Park City Mountain is the largest ski resort in the United States, with 7,300 acres of skiable terrain spread across two connected base areas in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. With 44 lifts, a peak elevation of 10,026 feet, and 355 inches of average annual snowfall, Park City delivers a scale of skiing that no other single resort in the country matches. The Quicksilver Gondola, completed in 2015, links the original Park City side to Canyons Village, making the full acreage accessible from either base.

Park City's ski history runs back to 1963, built on top of a silver mining town that boomed in the 1870s and went quiet by the early 1900s. The mining tunnels still honeycomb the mountain underneath modern ski runs. The original Park City side grew through the decades as a local favorite, while the Canyons side — developed separately starting in the 1960s — expanded into one of the largest ski areas in Utah on its own. Vail Resorts brought both together in 2014, and the Quicksilver connection the following year turned them into a single resort that changed the conversation about what a destination ski area could be.
The terrain splits naturally between the two sides. Park City's original mountain offers steep, tight runs through mining-era terrain and the reliably good skiing off Jupiter Peak and McConkey's Bowl. The Canyons side opens up into wide bowls, long groomers, and some of the best intermediate cruising in the Wasatch. Ninety-Nine 90, Iron Mountain, and Dreamscape are among the runs that reward exploration beyond the obvious. With Historic Main Street — a walkable downtown full of restaurants, galleries, and bars — sitting right at the base of the Town Lift, Park City is as much a destination as it is a ski area. Mtns Co carries Park City gear because no single mountain covers more ground.
