In the western Rocky Mountains of North America, Mount Yale is one of the highest mountain peaks in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness of San Isabel National Forest. In particular, Mount Yale is the 33rd highest Peaks in the U.S. This makes it very busy during the summer.
Furthermore, this mountain is located in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States. In addition, the mountain was named in honor of Yale University's founder, Eli Yale.
The first ascent was recorded on August 18, 1869, by William Brewer, William Davis, Robert Moore, S. Sharpless, and Josiah Whitney.

Main Trail Length
Part of its popularity can be attributed to a paved road all through to the trailhead. Mount Yale summit trail is 16.4 kilometers out and back trail near Buena vista, colorado. During the summer months, this trail is used for hiking, running, camping, and Snowshoeing. Dogs can also be brought along for a short walk but must be leashed.
