Mount Sneffels is a great 14er option due to its various routes and two access points: Yankee Boy Basin and Blue Lakes. The main trail to Mt Sneffels is
Yankee Boy Basin. This difficult 11.4-kilometer trail is located near Telluride, Colorado, and features a lake. The trip is heavily trafficked and well maintained. Hikers and off-road drivers alike use this trail primarily from June until September, and dogs are allowed on the trail.
